EU40 Grease and Sulphide Control
EU40 is designed primarily for application in pumping wells and pipes where animal fat, oil and grease (FOG) are present in nuisance concentrations. The product is a formulation of selected bacteria and surfactants.
Low foaming biodegradable surfactants penetrate and help break up the waste material to maximise biological degradation. The results are clearer settlement lakes, free flowing pipes, cleaner lift stations and reduced odours.
EU40 employs only Group 1 naturally occurring and appropriate non pathogenic micro‑organisms which are perfectly suited to such operating conditions under which they produce the enzymes systems essential to the FOG degradation process. EU40 rapidly builds up a bio film on pipe surfaces and walls that continue to release the required enzymes.
EU40 is designed to remove contamination by:
- utilising Phosphates and Nitrates to speed up biological growth and breakdown of waste.
- preventing the blocking of pipes and fat traps
- ensuring that pump control systems, such as level probes etc, are not fouled by grease accumulations.
- keeping digesters free of grease build up and scum.

When used as directed EU40 is completely safe. It is harmless to people, clothing and the environment, and completely biodegradable.
